i love a good costume

i realize i'm a little slow in posting pics, but i've had other things to do besides posting pics of myself in costume on the blog. i had a little fun for halloween this year courtesy of miss tanya beardsley's creativity. seriously, i called her and said something to the effect of "i need a funny, witty, not complicated, awesome costume. help?" and withing 0.2 seconds, she suggested this...

yep, she's awesome. so dang creative. and i have the thrift store to thank for the lovely frame and shimmery top complete with shoulder pads.

several of my coworkers also dressed up and we officially made the rest of the office jealous for not having the guts to go for it at work. somehow, i think we'll have more people in costume next year. success.
