well. the Heels play tonight. gonna be a tough one. two more wins to go. that's all they need. :) i have no problems flying solo out here in Missouri with my Carolina jersey on. born and bred.
also, i forgot to fill y'all in on this past week of class in my last post. thus, i'm posting again. i know, it's overload. too much posting, don't know what to do with yourselves. i'm sure you'll find a way to manage. we had Debbie Jo come this week and walk through Revelation. talk about a headache. we did it inductively and stuck to the text. not a lot of interpretation, but lots of observation. i'm a huge fan. lots of color-coded charts and such that organize everything. the Type A in me loved that. after we finished on wednesday, i scribbled down a few statements of what i believe and how i interpreted different parts to piece everything together. i had a blast cross-referencing with 1 & 2 Thessalonians and Daniel to make things line up in my little noggin. it makes sense to me, but i'm going to need to keep going over it so that i really get a handle on it. but regardless, i really enjoyed this week and the approach DJ took in avoiding interpretation and just sticking to the text. Bernard came on thursday and did a recap of Revelation too, but his left more room for interpretation and plenty of questions from us. again, what a headache. still sorting through, but i think i have a handle on it....at least for now.
next week we have our final week of fun that i'm really looking forward to. my camera's ready for some ridiculously awesome pictures. :) and we still have a few mornings with class....going through Titus and James, maybe others. not sure. either way, this has been a phenomenal "year" and it's bittersweet to see it come to an end. thanks for all your prayers and support. still just living each day to the max and making the most of every opportunity!!
so the world may know,
live for Jesus. laugh uncontrollably. love unconditionally.
