we've been joking all week that we finally found out if we're a christian or not based on our panels and how well we did. good news: i am. i passed. we don't know our grades yet, but i really don't care. i accomplished what i wanted to accomplish and this project is far from over. it created a desire in me to keep digging and wrestling with issues to find exactly what i believe based solely on Scripture. such a good little lifelong project. :)
as for my actual panel: i only got stumped on one question, but i found the verses to back up my answer as soon as i left. no way am i going to be stumped for long!! we all went over the 30 minute time limit in our panels, but the time really did go by faster than i thought it would. not that i wasn't nervous....my enormous pit sweat was proof. but it's a good feeling to be done with that part. so glad we did the panel, but glad it's over with as well. the actual creating of statements is what i really enjoyed and will continue doing.
this week is a work week at kauai since our JBU students are down there working on there Masters classes. and tomorrow we leave for spring break. headed back to NOLA with Kat for a week or so and then back to Branson...happy springtime !! and hopefully some warm weather again. (how in the world do you go from 70 degrees on tuesday to 30 degrees on wednesday...i just don't get it?!?) well, that's all for now! later!!
