2008 was an unbelievable year for lots of reasons. for starters, i graduated in May...GO HEELS!! four years goes by faster than i would like, but it was good to go back and visit over break. Hubert and Leslie have been such a blessing in my life and i'm thankful for the chance to go back and visit them while i was back in NC.
in 2008 i was also blessed with the opportunity to take several trips with friends and make lots of fun memories together. we celebrated 2008 at Disney World and watched the sky light up over Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom. then we took a cruise for Spring Break and had unbelievable amounts of fun and ridiculously awesome food.*with dad during a lull on a rainy graduation day*

*dressed up for the Captain's Dinner on our cruise*my trip to Viet Nam was probably the most unique experience of 2008 and another unbelievable opportunity to use volleyball to broaden my perspective. the world seems just a little bit smaller now. it was confirmation that anything is possible.

during christmas break i was able to spend quality time with lots of family over Christmas break. we had a lot of laughs and it's always fun to kick back and goof off with more Brinkleys and Swanns.*with Kenzie, Gator and Anna at Mimi's on Christmas day*

i'm ready to be back in Branson now and get started on another great year, beginning with another 4 months of intentional study and time at the Institute. what a blessing!! i have high hopes for 2009 and a peace about where the Lord will lead me after this time of preparation. i'm not sure where that will be yet, but i have no doubt that He has more unbelievable things in store for me in the months ahead. please keep praying with me. you are my warriors, and i love sharing this journey with you.*goofy faces with Cam, Vic, Maddie and Anna*
New Years was also unbelievably fun. i spent a few days in Chattanooga, TN with some awesome, awesome friends. we had fun catching up, laughing, goofing off, and hearing how the Lord has challenged us this year. so fun to share friendships like this!!
