strength in the struggle

i posted yesterday about how the struggle is part of the story. there have been several moments in the last few months where i just wasn't sure if i was ever going to (figuratively) breathe air again. i've been absolutely swamped at work for the past 7 months and it doesn't look like that's changing any time soon. i jokingly told a friend that i've just had to learn how to survive on the small bit of oxygen that comes from water because it looks like i'll be underwater for the long haul. no end in sight. sigh.

in the midst of this exhausting, overwhelming, utterly depleting season of life, i've found comfort in a few key scriptures and quotes. God is gracious to me in His timing of when i stumble upon them. His timing continues to be perfect and this weary heart can charge on for another day. here's to hoping they can encourage you today, too.
