today we had our NFL kickoff party at work. shmorgasboard style. more food than i could inhale at a safe pace. (i, of course, made my homemade guacamole and it was a huge hit.) games. prizes. laughter. the perfect break to a work day.

guacamole

i've decided to pass along a recipe for some yummy homemade guacamole. i can't take credit for it, but i can say that it's by far the best guac my tastebuds have ever encountered. i love this stuff.

yummy homemade guacamole

[4 avocados, 1 tomato, dried cilantro, cumin, garlic salt, black pepper]

pit and mash the avocados until your heart's content

dice tomato and add to avocado mixture

sprinkle in cilantro, cumin, garlic salt, and black pepper

grab a chip and taste test

add more seasoning until it's perfect

(tip: i usually end up adding more cumin and garlic salt after the first attempt)

seriously y'all, this stuff is the bomb diggity!!
